Nature of Requirements: 
Amendment 001 to the Request for proposal is raised to answer a
question, make modifications, and to extend the closing date
from July 16th, 2014 to August 14th, 2014.

All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain the
same.

A proposal already submitted may be amended prior to closing
time by sending the amended correspondence to Bid Receiving, the
envelope/fax bearing the proposal No. W8486-140067/A and the
closing date of August 14th, 2014.

PACESTICK, HARDWOOD NSN 8465-21-907-9479: Firm quantity 500
units; The pacestick is carried by Canadian Armed Forces
personnel as part of ceremonial and regimental dress, and is
used for precision drill and training.

Required for the Department of National Defence (DND) to be
delivered to Montreal and Edmonton, requested for October 31,
2014.

The requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.

Four options exists for up to a maximum of 100% of the above
quantities.

To assure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to
the bid closing date.

No sealed sample are available for viewing at Department of
Public Works and Government Services regional offices.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
