Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: The bidder must supply Canadian goods and/or services Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: AMENDMENT 001 This amendment is raised to make the following changes: 1) CHANGE THE TIME ZONE DELETE : Eastern Standard Time EST INSERT : Eastern Daylight Saving Time EDT 2) EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE DELETE : at 02:00 PM EDT on 2016-03-03 INSERT : at 02:00 PM EDT on 2016-03-17 ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN THE SAME. ____________________________________________________ Requirement: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Jacket, Patrol, Soft Shell. The jackets must be manufactured in accordance with the RCMP Specification G.S.1045-354 dated October 16, 2015,the patterns, and the viewing sample. Firm quantity: Item 1 - Jacket, Patrol (regular sizes) - quantity 6,945 units. It is requested that the first shipment be made within 90 calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of the pre-production or production sample and receipt of the Government Available Material (GAM). Estimated quantity ("as and when requested"): Item 2 - Jacket, Patrol (Regular sizes) -estimated quantity 1,500 units Item 3 - Jacket, Patrol (Special sizes)- estimated quantity 50 units The estimated quantities may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract.Special size is defined as those sizes outside the realm of the scale of measurements. Delivery of the "as & when requested" quantities for regular sizes is requested within 45 calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of the test reports and Certificates of Compliance. Delivery of the "as&when requested" quantities for special sizes is requested within 30 calendar days from receipt of the order document. Options This requirement also includes two (2) options to purchasean additional quantity as follows: Option 1: for a maximumof 4,000 units exercisable for a period of 24months from the date of contract award. Option 2: for a maximum of 4,000 units exercisable for a period of 36 months from the date of contract award. Pre-Award Sample and Supporting Documentation A pre-award sample, Certificates of Compliance and laboratory test results may be requested after bid closing. Viewing Sample An RCMP viewing samplewill be provided to bidders who are requested to provide a pre-award sample. The viewing sample must be used forguidance of the manufacturer in all factors not covered by the specification. Variation from the specification may appear in the sample in which case the specification shall govern. A viewing sample may be viewed (by appointment only) at the following Public Services and Procurement Canada's regional offices at: QUEBEC, QC.; MONTREAL, QC.; MISSISSAUGA, ON.; WINNIPEG, MB; EDMONTON, AB; VANCOUVER, BC. Paper Patterns A base pattern will be provided to bidders who are requested to submit a pre-award sample. The full set of patternseither in individual sizes or as a graded nest will be provided after contract award. Canadian Content Policy This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and is solely limited to Canadian origingoods.
