    Amendment 001 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended from May 3, 2016 to May 13, 2016, 2:00 pm.

    Requirement:
    This requirement is for the establishment of a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for CORCAN Industries-Correctional Service Canada for the supply of the following fabrics (end use: underpants).
    
    Item 1:  estimated usage/year - 40,000 metres
    White tubular waffle knit (43 cm tube), 50% polyester / 50% cotton, mass 254 g/m2.  Fabric design must be square 7x7 mm.
    
    Item 1a:  estimated usage/year - 140,000 metres
    White tubular waffle knit (52 cm tube), 50% polyester / 50% cotton, mass 254 g/m2 (7.5 oz/yd2).  Fabric design must be square 7x7 mm.
    
    Item 2:  estimated usage/year - 50,000 metres
    White 1/1 rib knit, 2-3/8" strip, cross-cut, 49% cotton / 49 polyester / 2% spandex, mass 254 g/m2  (7.5 oz/yd2).
    
    Item 3:  estimated usage/year - 10,000 metres
    White tubular 1/1 rib knit, 54 cm tube, 49% cotton / 49% polyester / 2% spandex, mass 254 g/m2  (7.5 oz/yd2). 
    
    Item 4:  estimated usage/year - 20,000 metres
    White jersey knit, 1-1/8" strip, cross-cut, 50% polyester /50% cotton, mass 175 g/m2.
    
    Technical Requirements:
    The items must meet the technical requirements specified at Annex "A" of the Request For Standing Offer (RFSO) and must also meet all the requirements specified at Annexes B, C and D of the RFSO within the minimum and maximum acceptable range in accordance with the Canadian General Standard Board Test Methods CAN/CGSB 4.2.
    
    Period of Standing Offer
    The Standing Offer will be valid from the date of issuance of the Standing Offer for a period of one (1) year with the possibility to extend for two (2) additional one-year period.
    
    Delivery:
    For the first order of each item:
    Delivery of the first order of each item must be completed within 50 calendar days from the notice of approval of the productionsample.
    
    For subsequent orders of each item:
    Delivery must be completed within 50 calendar days from receipt of the call-up document.
    
    Items are to be delivered to various CORCAN Institutions such as Drummondville and/or Cowansville and/or Laval, Quebec.
    
    Pre-award samples and test results:
    The bidders must submit pre-award samples and laboratory test results with their bid.
    
    Canadian Content Policy:
    This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods. If two (2) + bids offer Canadian goods, other bids will not be considered.
