Amendment 001 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended from November 1, 2016 to November 8, 2016.

Requirement:
Canadian Heritage has a requirement for the National Flag of Canada (outdoor use) 3' x 6' (90cm x 180cm), Type 4, Subtype 4B, in accordance with the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Standard CAN/CGSB-98.1-2011.

Firm quantity:8.500 units

It is requested that the delivery of the firm quantity be complete by April 30, 2017.  Delivery to be made in Ottawa (Ontario).

Options
This requirement also includes three (3) options to purchase an additional quantity as follows:

Option 1:  for a maximum of 30,000 units exercisable at any time before March 31, 2018.
Option 2:  for a maximum of 30,000 units exercisable at any time before March 31, 2019.
Option 3:  for a maximum of 30,000 units exercisable at any time before March 31, 2020.

Pre-Award Sample and Supporting Documentation 
A pre-award sample and laboratory test results must be included with the bid.

Financial Security
If a bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security, after the bid closing date and within 10 calendar days from receipt of a written request from the Contracting Authority.
