    Amendment 001 is raised to advise that the the bid closing date is extended from November 29, 2016 to December 7, 2016, 2:00 pm.

    REQUIREMENT:
    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Carrier, External, Load Carrying.  The carriers must be manufactured in accordance with the RCMP Specification G.S.1045-360 dated 2015-11-20, the patterns and theviewing sample.
    
    FIRM QUANTITY: 
    Item 1 - 3,100 units
    
    It is requested that the first shipment of the firm quantity be made within 45 calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of the pre-production samples and that delivery be complete by March 31, 2017.
    
    ESTIMATED QUANTITY ("AS AND WHEN REQUESTED):
    Item 2 - 4,000 units
    
    The estimated quantities may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 36 months from the effective date of the contract.  
    
    Delivery of the "as & when requested" quantity is requested within 45 calendar days from receipt of the order document.
    
    PRE-AWARD SAMPLE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
    A pre-award sample of the carrier along with laboratory test reports and Certificates of Compliance may be requested after bid closing.
    
    VIEWING SAMPLE:
    An RCMP viewing sample will be provided to bidders who are requested to provide a pre-award sample.  The viewing sample must be used for guidance of the manufacturer in all factors not covered by the specification.Variation from the specification may appear in the sample in which case the specification shall govern.
    
    A viewing sample may be viewed (by appointment only) at the following Public Services and Procurement Canada'sregional offices at:  QUEBEC, QC.; MONTREAL, QC.; MISSISSAUGA, ON.; WINNIPEG, MB; EDMONTON, AB; VANCOUVER, BC.
    
    CANADIAN CONTENT POLICY:
    This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and is solely limited to Canadian origin goods.
