Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: The bidder must supply Canadian goods and/or services Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Notice Amendment 002 is issued to extend the closing date to May 11, 2018. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notice Amendment 001 is issued to advise that the RCMP specification G.S.1045-336 has been revised and provide a copy dated 2018-04-19. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- REQUIREMENT: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Duty Belts and Accessories. The badges must be made in accordance with the RCMP specification G.S. 1045-336 dated December 6, 2017 and the viewing samples. FIRM QUANTITY: Item 1: 9,250 units, Belt, Duty, Inner Item 2: 7,605 units, Belt, Duty, Outer Item 3: 6,000 units, Pouch, Handcuff Item 4: 5,200 units, Holder, Defense Spray Item 5: 4,600 units, Pouch, Double Magazine (Full) Item 6: 250 units, Pouch, Double Maganize (Compact) Item 7: 18,000 units, Keeper, Detachable Item 8: 1,800 units, Ring, Flashlight Item 9: 2,400 units, Holder, Minilight ESTIMATED QUANTITY ("AS & WHEN REQUESTED"): This requirement also includes an estimated quantity of 400 units for special sizes. Special size is defined as those sizes outside the realm of the scale of measurements. The estimated quantity may be ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract. Canada is not obliged to request any such goods and the quantity of "as and when requested" goods is only an approximation of requirements. Estimated Quantity: Item 10: 200 units, Belt, Duty, Nylon, Inner (special sizes) Item 11: 200 units, Belt, Duty, Nylon, Outer (special sizes) OPTIONS This requirement also includes two (2) options to purchase an additional quantity (minimum quantity of 9,450 units up to a maximum quantity of 18,900 units per option). Option 1: exercisable for a period of 24 months from the date of the contract award. Option 2: exercisable for a period of 36 months from the date of the contract award. Option Items: Belt, Duty, Inner Belt, Duty, Outer Pouch, Handcuff Holder, Defense Spray Pouch, Double Magazine (Full & Compact) Keeper, Detachable Ring, Flashlight PRE-AWARD SAMPLES AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION: Pre-award samples, component samples along with supporting documentation (Material Data Sheet and Certificates of Compliance) will be requested after the bid closing from the lowest bidders. VIEWING SAMPLES: The viewing samples may be viewed (by appointment only) at the following Public Services and Procurement Canada's regional offices at: QUEBEC, QC.; MONTREAL, QC.; MISSISSAUGA, ON.; WINNIPEG, MB; EDMONTON, AB; VANCOUVER, BC. Viewing samples will be provided to bidders who are requested to provide pre-award samples. The viewing samples must be used for guidance of the manufacturer in all factors not covered by the specification. Variation from the specification may appear in the samples in which case the specification shall govern. CONTRACT FINANCIAL SECURITY: If bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide contract financial security in the amount of up to ten percent (10%) of the contract price. CANADIAN CONTENT POLCY: This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and is solely limited to Canadian origin goods.
