The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for
the procurement of Trousers, Heavy Weight (HW) Whipcord, Male
and Female to be supplied in various regular sizes and special
sizes for delivery to the RCMP in Ottawa, Ontario.  Paper
Patterns as well as viewing samples will be provided to bidders
who will be requested to provide a pre-award sample.  View
quantity breakdown below.

Technical Requirements:  All units must be manufactured in
accordance with the RCMP specification G.S. 1045-090 dated
2013-01-18 provided with the Request for Proposal, drawings,
paper patterns and viewing sample.  Special sizes to be
manufactured as per individual dimensions.  

Viewing Samples:   Samples shall be available for viewing at the
following Department of Public Works and Government Services
Regional Offices:  Quebec City (Quebec); Montreal (Quebec);
Mississauga (Ontario); Winnipeg (Manitoba); Edmonton (Alberta);
Vancouver (B.C.) and Gatineau (Quebec).

Government Available Material (GAM):  The following government
available material is required for the manufacture of these
items and must be purchased from the RCMP (add 13% for the HST).

	For 25 CFSD (Canadian Forces Supply Depot) - Montreal:
	# 9140-000 Cloth, Blue, Whipcord,  145 cm wide at

Delivery to the RCMP in Ottawa, Ontario:
Item 001 and 002:  Delivery of the firm quantity is requested to
be completed no later than December 31, 2013.

Item 003 - Trousers, Heavy Weight (HW), Whipcord, Male, Regular
sizes:       350 pairs
Item 004 - Trousers, Heavy Weight (HW), Whipcord, Female,
Regular sizes:    100 pairs   

Estimated Quantity: "As and When Requested" Specials:
Item 005 - Trousers, Heavy Weight (HW), Whipcord, Male, special
sizes:       20 pairs
Item 006 - Trousers, Heavy Weight (HW), Whipcord, Female,
special sizes:      5 pairs

Items 003, 004, 005 and 006:  Regular and Special sizes may be
ordered on an "as and when requested" basis within 24 months of
contract award.

Option Quantity #1:

Option Quantities #2:  may be ordered within 24 months of
contract award

Canadian Content Policy:  This requirement is subject to the
Canadian Content Policy and is Solely Limited to Canadian Goods
as defined in clause K4000D Canadian Content Definition.

Enquiries:  To ensure a response before the bid closing date,

writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven
(7) calendar days prior to the closing date.
