    This Amendment is raised to advise that the closing date has
    been extended to 14-November-2012.

    TENT SECTIONS, centre and front walls for TEMS (Tent Expandable
    Modular System) to be manufactured in accordance with
    Specifications, drawings and samples referenced in the Design
    Data List (DDL).  The Contractor must ensure that the required
    items are manufactured in accordance with their associated
    drawing packages.  The end product must conform to the drawings
    in form, fit and function and be completely interchangeable with
    existing in-service components.
    
    Item 001:  NATO Stock Number (NSN) 8340-21-859-3136  Tent
    Section, TEMS, Main, Centre (middle) section; quantity 4,000 for
    delivery to CFSD Montreal, Quebec
    
    Item 002:  NATO Stock Number (NSN) 8340-21-859-3131  Tent
    Section, TEMS, Main, Front Wall, 2 door; quantity 3,000 for
    delivery to CFSD Montreal, Quebec  and quantity 1,000 for
    delivery to CFSD Edmonton. 
    
    
    A pre-award sample (5 linear meters of the fabric type II and 2
    linear meters of the fabric type I) as well as test results in
    accordance with Specification D-80-001-204/SF-001 must be
    included with the bid.
    
    Technical data (if applicable) shall be automatically issued to
    firms, under separate cover from the Department of National
    Defence, upon request for the bid documentation via Merx.  If
    bidders do not receive the technical data, they must contact 
    the contracting authority (Debbie Dusenbury) at
    debbie.dusenbury@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca) and/or (819) 956-9563. 
    Therefore, it is imperative that this request for bid
    documentation be done as soon as possible to ensure timely
    receipt of the associated technical data.  However, the Crown
    shall not be held responsible for untimely release of technical
    data, since the technical package and sealed patterns shall be
    available for viewing at the following Department of Public
    Works and Government Services Regional Offices:  Montréal, QUÉ;
    Québec, QUÉ; Mississauga, ON; Winnipeg, MB; Edmonton, ALTA. and
    Vancouver, BC.  
    
    Up to two (2) Contracts with estimated values split of 60% and
    40 % respectively are required by the Department of National
    Defence (DND).
    
    DELIVERY :  
    The first delivery of quantity 100 units must be made within 60
    calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of
    pre-production sample.  The balance must be delivered at the
    rate of a minimum of 100 units every two weeks after the first
    delivery until completion of the Contract.
    
    Canada has the right to purchase optional quantites as follows:  
    Minimum of 2,000 units for each item; Maximum of 4,000 units of
    each item; for a total of 24,000 units for up to a three (3)
    year period.  The option may be exercised in whole or in part.
    
    If a bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide
    contract financial security, after the bid closing date and
    within 10 calendar days from receipt of a written request from
    the Contracting Authority.
