    Solicitation amendment no. 003 is issued to extend the closing
    date from 01-May-2014 to  15-May-2014.
    =================================================================
    
    DND has a requirement for Arctic Tent Liners (as detailed below)
    to be manufactured in accordance with Department of National
    Defence (DND) Drawings and Specifications for delivery to
    Canadian Forces Supply Depot (CFSD) Montreal, Quebec.
    
    ITEM 001:  NSN: 8340-21-108-0138; Quantity 750 each
    TENT LINER (designed for 5-man Arctic tent section)
    
    ITEM 002:  NSN: 8340-21-108-0140; Quantity 750 each
    TENT LINER (designed for 10-man Arctic tent section)
    
    
    GOVERNMENT-SUPPLIED MATERIAL (GSM)
    GSM must be used in the manufacture of the items detailed in the
    Contract.  
    
    DELIVERY:	
    The first delivery must be made within 60 calendar days from the
    date of the written notice of approval of pre-production samples
    and receipt of Government-Supplied Material (GSM).  The quantity
    delivered must be 100 each item.  The balance must be delivered
    at the rate of 100 every two weeks after the first delivery
    until completion of the Contract.
    
    TECHNICAL DATA:
    The technical data  will be issued to bidders, under separate
    cover, upon their request to the Contractintg Authority (Debbie
    Dusenbury).  Therefore, it is imperative that this request be
    done as soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the
    associated technical data.  Notwithstasnding the above, Canada
    must not be held responsible for untimely release of technical
    data.
    
    
    OPTIONS:  
    Canada has the right to purchase optional quantites up to a 
    maximum of 750 units of each item.  
    The option may be exercised at any time within a 36-month period
    from date of contract.
    
    
    If a bid is accepted, the Bidder may be required to provide
    contract financial security, after the bid closing date and
    within 10 calendar days from receipt of a written request from
    the Contracting Authority.
    
    TENDERING PROCEDURE: This procurement is solely limited to
    Canadian goods.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
