CORCAN Correctional Service of Canada requires a Regional Individual Standing Offer on an “as & when” basis for a 12-month period with the possibility of 2 twelve-month extension periods for Cargo Pants fabric, blue (item 001) and Cargo Pants fabric, green (item 002) in accordance with Annexes “A”, “B”, “C” and “D” and  in accordance with Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB)  CAN/CGSB 4.2.  

Item 001:  (Cargo Pants fabric - blue)
• Cargo Pants fabric, 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend, mass 245 g/m² +/-5% tolerance, minimum width of 160cm (63’’);

• Colour Navy Blue Pantone 19-3921 TCX (as a reference) with Lab coordinates:
    *L *a *b = 19.10, 1.25, -10.56 ;


Item 002:  (Cargo Pants fabric - green)
• Cargo Pants fabric, 60% cotton / 40% polyester blend, mass 245 g/m² +/-5% tolerance, minimum width of 160cm (63’’);

• Colour Green Pantone 19-5708 TCX (as a reference) with Lab coordinates: *L *a *b = 16.68, -2.83, -0.20;


Fabric must comply with the standards of the Canadian General Standards Bureau (CGSB) as specified in Annex “B”.

The Standing Offer will be valid from the date of issuance of the Standing Offer for a period of 12-months with the possibility to extend for two (2) additional 12-months periods.  Deliveries could be to various CORCAN institutions in Drummondville and/or Cowansville and/or Laval, QC.

Only one (1) RISO may be issued as a result of this RFSO.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services. The requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods and/or services.  If there are two or more offers with a valid Canadian Content certification, then the evaluation will be limited to the offers with the certification.  Refer to the RFSO for more details.
