    This Solicitation Amendment #002 is issued to extend the closing date from 21-February-2018 to 26-February-2018.

    This is issued to amend the Trade Agreements clause and to respond to a question.

    Requirement:
    The Contractor is required to provide Canada on behalf of the Parliamentary Precinct Branch (PPB) of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PS&PC) with the National Flag of Canada (outdoor use) in various sizes and in strict accordance with the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Standard CAN/CGSB-98.1-2011, with the exception of item 6 regarding the placement of the grommet.
    
    
    Deliveries:
    All firm deliverables are requested to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario commencing April 1, 2018 - the 15th day of the month as per the table in the solicitation document.
    
    The delivery of the option quantities must commence within (to be determined by bidder) calendar days from receipt of the contract amendment and after final delivery of the firm contract quantity.
    
    
    Quantities:
    Firm Quantity - Phased (Items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6)
    673 Flags to be delivered at various times throughout the year (delivery schedule detailed herein i.e. the 15th day of the month)
    
    As and When Quantities: (items 7, 8 and 9) 
    30 Flags for delivery to Ottawa, Ontario.  Sizes and quantities will be provided at time of each “call-up”.
    
    Option Quantities:  
    - Minimum of 673 Flags / up to a maximum of 93,683 Flags may be exercised within 48 months after contract award date.
    
    
    Pre-Award Sample
    Bidders must provide one (1) pre-award sample of one (1) each of the following Flags:  Items 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 and test results (in accordance with CAN/CGSB 98.1-2011) and must be included with the bid.
    
    
    Trade Agreements
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
