Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: If 3+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Attachment: YES (PWGSC) Paper Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: GLOVES,BARBED TAPE-WIRE HANDLERS' W8486-124050/A Paradis, Lise Telephone No. - (819) 956-3848 Fax No. - (819) 956-5454 Requirement: The Department of National Defence has a requirement for a firm quantity of 2,500 pairs of Gloves, Barbed Tape/Wire Handlers. It is requested that the firm quantity be delivered complete by August 31, 2012. In addition, this requirement also includes two options to purchase additional quantities. A minimum of 50% up to a maximum of 100%. Option 1 can be exercised up to 12 months after contract award date and option 2 can be exercised up to 24 months after contract award date. All items are to be delivered to Montreal, QC and Edmonton, AB. Technical Requirements: The Gloves has to be in accordance with the Purchase Description for Goves, Barbed Tape/Wire Handlers dated February 27, 2012 and sealed sample DSSPM 373-12. DND Specification: Technical Data will automatically be issued to bidders who will order the bid document from Merx. Therefore, it is imperative that this request for bid documentation be done as soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the associated documents. Notwithstanding, the Crown shall not be held responsible for untimely release of any documents since the technical data package and sealed samples shall be available for viewing at the following Public Works and Government Services Canada regional offices: Quebec, Quebec; Montreal, Quebec; Mississauga, Ontario; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Edmonton, Alberta; and Vancouver, Bristish Columbia. Canadian Content Policy: This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods. Enquiries To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
