    The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for:

    Item 002 - NSN 4220-21-906-0844 - Pack, Life Raft and Survival
    Equipment 
    Slimline Back Pack; Nylon Material; Color: Olive Drab;
    Waterproof.
    (NSCM: 36376, Part no. : D-22-524-000/SF-000).
    
    Technical Requirements :
    The items must be manufactured in accordance with DND
    specifications, drawings and sealed patterns identified in the
    Design Data List (DDL) - 8485-126299.
    
    Technical Data shall be automatically issued, under separate
    cover, upon request for the bid documentation. Therefore, it is
    imperative that this request for bid documentation be done as
    soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the associated
    Technical Data. Notwithstanding the above, the Crown shall not
    be held responsible for untimely release of technical data,
    since the Technical Data Package as well as sealed patterns
    shall be available for viewing at the following Department of
    Public Works and Government Services Regional Offices: Quebec,
    Quebec; Montreal, Quebec; Mississauga, Ontario; Winnipeg,
    Manitoba; Edmonton, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia.
    
    Firm Quantity - (Item 001)
    A firm quantity of  25 each to be delivered to Montreal, Quebec
    and 25 each to be delivered to Edmonton, Alberta for a total of
    50 each.
    
    Firm Quantity - (Item 002)
    A firm quantity of a 25 each to be delivered to Montreal, Quebec
    and 25 each to be delivered to Edmonton, Alberta for a total of
    50 each.
    
    Delivery requested: 
    The delivery of the firm deliverables are requested to commence
    after April 1st, 2012  and be complete 
    by August 31, 2012.
    
    Tendering Procedures:
    Canadian Content - Conditionally Limited
    If 3+ bids offer Canadian goods other bids will not be considered

    To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
    about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
    by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
