OUTER TENT SKINS (PURCHASE 22)

Requirement:
The Department of Public Works and Governmental Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for the procurement of Outer, Tent, Skins.

Technical Requirements
All items must be manufactured in accordance with the description below and the drawings.

Outer Tent Skins
- Approximate size to be 28’ - 8” (flat dimension) x 25’- 0”
-18 oz FR-PVC coated polyester
-Cover to be reinforced with a double layer on both ends and on center
-Fabric colour is white
-Fabric to have a clear urethane coating on the outside to provide a more slippery surface to aid inreducing snow accumulation
-Manufactureas per existing skin
-No vents or windows cut outs

Firm Quantity 
A firm quantity of 22 each to be delivered to Ottawa, Ontario

Delivery Required (mandatory): 
The delivery of the firm deliverables mustbecompleted no later than March 31, 2017.

Tendering Procedures:
Open - All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

Enquiries:
To ensure a response beforethe bid closing date, all enquiries about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days priorto the closing date.

Special Instruction:

Site Visit
In order to provide bidders with opportunities to view and assess aspects of the “outer tent skins” that cannot be adequately described, a site visit will be held on October 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. EST at 31 Shirley Blvd, Ottawa, Ontario.  Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 3 days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names of the person who will attend.  Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be includedas an amendment to the bid solicitation.

No questions will be answered during the site visit.  Bidders must submit their questions in writing to the Contracting Authority.
