Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: The bidder must supply Canadian goods and/or services Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: INVITATION TO THE LAND OPERATION TEMPERATE BOOT (LOTB) INDUSTRY DAY ON DECEMBER 12, 2012 LOCATION Louis St-Laurent Building 555 Boulevard de la Carrière Gatineau, Québec K1A 0K2 PURPOSE OF THE INDUSTRY DAY To provide initial information regarding the projected request for proposal (RFP), which will be solely limited to Canadian Goods, for the manufacture of the Land Operation Temperate Boot, and to provide a forum for the industry to ask questions to the technical authority and the project team. FORMAT OF THE FORUM The LOTB project team will provide an overview of the procurement followed by an opportunity for industry to ask questions. Furthermore, Directorate Land Requirement (DLR) personnel will also be available to provide industry with information on requirements. One-on-one sessions with members of the Project Team can also be arranged through the Contracting Authority, requests made after December 5, 2012 may not be accommodated. Schedule 13:00 - 14:15 Presentations and discussions 14:15 - 14:45 Break 14:45 - 16:00 Presentations and discussions 16:00 - 17:00 Closing remarks - Networking Suppliers are invited to send representatives to the event. For planning purposes, names of personnel attending should be sent by December 5, 2012 to the Contracting Authority. However, we will accept last minute registration up to and including the day of the event. The draft technical documentations will be provided to industry by email upon confirmation of attendance. However, a hard copy of the draft documentations will also be made available during the industry day. The suppliers are invited to send their questions and comments in advance to the Contracting Authority, comments and questions received after December 7, 2012 may not be answered at the industry day.
