    REQUIREMENT:
    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for Outerwear Apparel.  Outerwear Apparel must be manufactured in accordance with the RCMP Specification identified in Annex B, C, D and E, all dated 2015-07-09 and the available patterns and viewing samples.
    
    CONTRACT FIRM QUANTITIES:
    Item 1 - Hood, Cold Weather, Parka, Inclement - quantity 1,300 units
    Item 2 - Jacket, High Visibility - quantity 165 units
    Item 3 - Jacket, Patrol Unisex - quantity 3,615 units
    Item 4 - Parka,Inclement - quantity 630 units
    Item 5 - Trousers, Inclement - quantity 220 units
    Item 6 - Stripe, Trousers Inclement, Blue - quantity 385 units
    
    It is requested that the first shipment be made within 52 calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of the pre-production samples.
    
    ESTIMATED QUANTITY ("AS AND WHEN REQUESTED") (REGULAR OR SPECIAL SIZES):
    Item 7 - Jacket, Patrol Unisex (Regular) - estimated quantity 500 units
    Item 8 - Parka, Inclement (Regular) - estimated quantity 300 units
    Item 9 - Hood, Cold Weather, Parka, Inclement (Special) - estimated quantity 10 units
    Item 10 - Jacket, High Visibility (Special) - estimated quantity 15 units
    Item 11 - Jacket, Patrol Unisex (Special) - estimated quantity 100 units
    Item 12-Parka, Inclement (Special) - estimated quantity 50 units
    Item 13 - Trousers, Inclement (Special) - estimated quantity 50 units
    Item 14 - Yellow, Blue or Fluorescent Stripe Inclement (Special) - estimated quantity 15 units
    
    The estimated quantitiesmaybe ordered on an "as & when requested" basis by the RCMP for a period of 48 months from the effective date of the contract award date.
    
    Delivery of the "as & when” quantities for regular sizes is requested within 52 calendar after receipt of orderdocument.
    
    Delivery of the "as & when” requested quantities for special sizes is requested within 30 calendar days from receipt of the order document.
    
    OPTIONS:
    This requirement also includes two (2) options to purchase an additional quantities as follows:
    
    Option 1:
    Item 15 - Hood, Cold Weather, Parka, Inclement - estimated quantity 500 units
    Item 16 - Jacket, High Visibility - estimated quantity 100 units
    Item 17 - Jacket, Patrol Unisex - estimated quantity 1500 units
    Item 18 - Parka, Inclement-estimated quantity 500 units
    Item 19 -Trousers, Inclement - estimated quantity 500 units
    Item 20 - Stripe, Trousers Inclement, Blue - estimated quantity 250 units
    
    Option 2:
    Item 21- Hood, Cold Weather, Parka, Inclement - estimated quantity 500 units
    Item 22 - Jacket, Patrol Unisex - estimated quantity 1500 units
    Item 23 - Parka, Inclement - estimated quantity 500 units
    Item 24 - Trousers, Inclement - estimated quantity 500 units
    
    Option 1 can be exercised within 36 months from the contractaward date.
    Option 2 can be exercised within 48 months from the contract award date.
    
    PRE-AWARD SAMPLE AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION:
    Pre-award samples, Certificates of Compliance and laboratory test reports may be requested after bid closing.
    
    VIEWINGSAMPLE:
    An RCMP viewing sample will be provided to bidders who are requested to provide a pre-award sample.  The viewing sample must be used for guidance of the manufacturer in all factors not covered by the specification.  Variation from the specification may appear in the sample in which case the specification shall govern.
    
    A viewing sample may be viewed (by appointment only) at the following Public Services and Procurement Canada's regional offices at:  Quebec, QC.; Montreal, QC.; Mississauga, ON.; Winnipeg, MB; Edmonton, AB; Vancouver, BC.
    
    CANADIAN CONTENT POLICY:
    This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and is solely limited to Canadian origin goods.
