Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf or Military-Off-The-Shelf Multi-Layer Weather Protective Clothing system to be supplied in accordance with DND specifications. This procurement isdivided in two steps: Step I (Trial Contract): each Bidder deemed compliant will be awarded a contract for the supply of a quantity of ten (10) of each of the clothing layers. These clothing layers will be used for a Proof of Concept Trial. Step II (Main Contract): Following the Proof of Concept Trial result, one contract will be awarded for the Multi-Layer Weather Protective Clothing system. The Requisition on contract (ROC) will be for one (1) year with the option to extend for four (4) additional one (1) year period. The Bidder must supply and deliver the Multi-Layer Weather Protective Clothing system as specified in Individual Requisition on Contract. Enquiries: To assure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries about thisrequirement must be submitted in writing and received by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date.
