This amendment is raised to answer questions that were raised during the solicitation period.

Health Canada has a requirement for one built-in autoclave. The requirement includes all of the following: 

• removal and disposal of the existing autoclave;
• supply and delivery of new autoclave; 
• installation and set-up of the new autoclave, including all equipment, hardware, software, control systems and accessories required for the autoclave to work in accordance with the requirements as specified herein; and
• training and knowledge transfer for Food Virology Laboratory staff (two people).

The autoclave must meet all of the requirements listed in Annex "A" of the RFP in order to be deemed compliant. Delivery and installation must be completed by March 24, 2017.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
