    REQUIREMENT:  PORTAL RADIATION DETECTION SYSTEM
    
    The Canadian Border Services Agency has a requirement for the
    supply and installation of four (4) Portal Radiation Detection
    System (PRDS) complete with training and manuals to be used for
    automatically screening all rail and truck borne cargo
    containers traveling through seaports for hazardous radioactive
    materials at Canada's major marine ports.  The PRDS must meet
    the mandatory requirements detailed in Annex A - Statement of
    Requirement in the Request for Proposal.  A  two-year
    warranty/maintenance service and three (3) software licenses for
    each system is to be included.
    
    The Resulting Contract will have a irrevocable option to a)
    purchase up to an additional thirty-one (31) additional PRDS (at
    various locations) within two (2) years after contract award; b)
    an option to purchase technical training, on an "as and when
    requested" basis, within seven (7) years after contract award;
    c) option to extend the warranty/maintenance service provisions
    for up to three (3) additional one (1) year periods; and d) an
    option to purchase additional software licenses within two (2)
    years after contract award.
    
    Delivery and installation of the initial four (4) PRDS to: 
    Ottawa, Ontario (1 Unit) and Vancouver, BC (3 Units) must be
    received no later than March 31, 2015.
