Nature of Requirements: 
This amendment is raised to change the date of the bidder's
conference from August 21, 2014 to Wednesday August 27, 2014.


The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
the supply of, initial cadre training for, repair and overhaul
services for, scientific and technical reach back services for
and provisioning support for twenty-four (24) Chemical
Identification Systems (ChemIS). 

The period of the contract will be up to 42 months. Provisioning
support may be exercised on an as and when requested basis, via
Requisition on Contract, during the period of the Contract. The
services to incorporate the requirement for Sensor Integration
and Decision Support (SI&DS) integration of each ChemIS and
Technical Investigations and Engineering Studies (TIES) Services
are to be exercised on an as and when requested basis, via a
Task Authorization, during the period of the Contract. 

This contract will contain options for up to sixteen (16)
additional ChemIS kits and up to three (3) serials of initial
cadre training.

This contract will contain options to extend the term of the
Contract for an additional, eight (8) one year periods, during
which optional repair and overhaul services for, scientific and
technical reach back services for the 24 ChemIS kits and any
optional ChemIS kits purchased may be exercised. Provisioning
support may be exercised on an as and when requested basis, via
Requisition on Contract, during extensions to the term of the
Contract. The services to incorporate the requirement for SI&DS
integration of each ChemIS and TIES Services are to be exercised
on an as and when requested basis, via a Task Authorization,
during extensions to the term of the Contract. 

This procurement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade. 

Reissue of Bid Solicitation:

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number W8476-112713/C dated June 19, 2013 with a
closing of August 2, 2013.

Bidders' Conference: 
A bidders' conference will be held at 455 De la Carrière Blvd.,
Gatineau, Quebec, on Thursday, August 21, 2014.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
