Nature of Requirements: 

Agriculture Canada has a requirement for a compound microscope for the examination of small to microscopic organisms (from over 3mm to less than 0.1 mm in length), specifically, arthropods and nematodes, and must be able to take high-quality images of these organisms and their external and internal structures. The compound microscope must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements as specified in the RFP.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
