Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for six (6) complete CAF CBRN Decontamination Systems that include decontaminant and surrogate, equipment, spare parts and consumables, training, ILS, and ISS. Two (2) resulting contracts will be awarded at the same time to a single contractor as a result of this competitive process. The first contract, Acquisition of the CAF CBRN Decontamination Systems Contract, will be for the delivery of six (6) CAF CBRN Decontamination Systems, including decontaminant, surrogate, ILS, and training. This contract will include an option to purchase up to three (3) additional CAF CBRN Decontamination Systems within thirty (30) months after contract award. DND estimates the maximum funding for the initial contract, excluding options, to be $30,000,000.00 Cdn. The period of this contract will be for thirty-six (36) months from award. The second contract, ISS for the CAF CBRN Decontamination System, will have an initial period of five (5) years with the option to extend the contract by an additional three (3) 5-year periods under the same conditions, which would cover the expected life cycle of the equipment. This contract will include Core Work, as well as Task Authorizations for services including Special Investigations and Technical Studies (SITS), and Technical Investigative and Engineering Support Services (TIES). In addition, Requisitions on Contract (ROC) will be utilized to purchase spare parts and consumables on an "as and when requested" basis. Canada may exercise the options in part by advising which of the Core Work is being optioned by Canada. In the event that Canada does not exercise an option for Core Work, Canada may exercise the option for spare parts and consumables and Taskings. This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program A bidders' conference will be held on March 20, 2014. The conference will begin at 09:00 AM. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
