The TGA-DCS instrument is Netzsch STA449F5. The requirements include: 1. The instrument including all licensed software and hardware that meets all the Technical specifications and the Mandatory Evaluation Criteria as described further below; 2. 1 year warranty; 3. 1 year free maintenance and support service; 4. Training; and 5. Installation and calibration. Technical Specification The instrument must include the following functionalities 1. Must have a secure and leak proof physical interface with Netzsch STA449F5 DSC/TGA. 2. A user-friendly software to configure and run the mass spectrometer. 3. A software package for analysis of the results capable of ion identification, 2D and 3D plotting of the results and the relevant mathematical operation such as but not limited to the area under curve and first and second derivative of the plots. 4. Gas concentration data must be recorded as a function of time, starting within 0.1 second of the time that DSC/TGA data begins recording. For this to occur properly, the mass spectrometer’s software must communicate with the TGA-DCS software. 5. The mass spectrometer must be able to operate as a stand-alone unit as well as working in tandem with the Netzsch STA449F5. 6. Must operate under inert, oxidizing and reducing atmospheres.
