Title : Unidirectional Freeze Thaw Cabinet

    Description :
The National Research Council Canada (NRC) requires an environmental chamber for testing masonry and concrete test specimens. The cabinet must allow for testing masonry specimens according to CEN TS 772-22 or RILEM MS.A.3 for unidirectional freeze-thaw of masonry units or wallettes. Unlike a typical environmental chamber, this cabinet will utilize water sprayed inside the cabinet to thaw the test specimens. This water will be required to be fully removed from water pipes inside the cabinet by means of compressed air in order to prevent broken water lines during a freezing phase.

The requirement must include all of the following:
    - One (1) Unidirectional Freeze Thaw Cabinet; and
    - One (1) Operating manual in English.

All the deliverables must be received on or before twelve (12) weeks after contract award.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposals process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for proposals process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
