    The Department of National Defence (CFB Halifax), has a
    requirement that comprises the furnishings of all labour,
    materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supervision
    required to perform exterior and interior concrete and masonry
    repairs and/or replacement in various buildings of CFB Halifax
    as per attached Specification W010C-14C142 dated 2014-08-27.
    
    The work includes but not limited to the following:
    
    .1	replace broken, cracked, spalled, loose and deteriorated
    brick, concrete block, stone and tile;
    
    .2	rout / clean and repoint loose and deteriorated mortar joints
    in brick, stone, tile and brick sills;
    
    .3	clean caulking from mortar joints, clean joint and repoint;
    
    .4	cleaning of glazed and unglazed clay masonry and brick;
    
    .5	cleaning of and coating of steel lintels over windows;
    
    .6	caulking of windows and doors when related to repointing and
    / or brick replacement;
    
    .7	concrete or masonry lintels, sills, caps, etc., in
    conjunction with injection work;
    
    .8	minor repairs to concrete and masonry surfaces;
    
    .9	dowelling complete with epoxy grouting;
    
    .10	lead, aluminum and copper flashings when replaced in
    conjunction with injection work;
    
     	.11	replacement or new expansion and control joints in brick
    walls;
    	 .12	 removal of vines complete with suckers from masonry walls;
    	 .13	 clean off old roofing coatings and caulkings from brick
    surfaces;
    	 .14	 sandblasting or JETMAG of masonry surfaces or embedded
    steel / rebar; and
    	 .15	 Clean up. 
    
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
    American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Agreement on Internal
    Trade (AIT) and the Canada-Chilie Free Trade Agreement,
    Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement, and the Canada-Peru Free
    Trade Agreement.
    
    Specifications are included as an Annex in the Request for
    Proposal.
