    Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of Parks
    Canada has the requirement that includes, but not limited to the
    furnishing of all labour, materials and equipment required to
    provide construction services for the rehabilitation of the
    culvert crossing Highway 19 (Cabot Trail) at kilometer +/- 13,
    near French Mountain, NS. The Project
    shall include:
    
    .1  Site erosion and sediment control measures, including check
    dams, silt fencing, hay/straw bales, vegetative stabilization
    and other measures as required, maintained for the duration of
    the project.
    
    .2 Diversion and maintenance of existing stream flow to allow
    construction and maintenance of new culvert.
    
    .3 Removal and disposal of existing features within limit of
    contract including asphalt pavement, guard rail, CSP culvert and
    concrete structures and foundations.
    
    .4 Excavation of roadway structure with stockpiling of approved
    material.
    
    .5 Rock breaking and excavation, as required.
    
    .6 Supply and installation of pre-cast concrete box culvert,
    complete with cast in place inlet and outlet structures.
    
    .7 Supply, placement and compaction of bedding, surround and
    backfill/sub-grade materials around box culvert.
    
    .8 Supply, placement and compaction of sub-base and base gravels
    in roadway structure.
    
    .9 Construction of reinforced concretelevelling pad, anchored
    into bedrock, complete with grout.
    
    .10 Supply and installation of precast concrete engineered
    retaining wall, complete with backfill, sub-drainage and
    granular bedding and surround.
    
    .11 Construction of asphalt pavement, including butt joint
    overlays.
    
    .12 Supply and installation of finish surfacing, including rip
    rap, shoulder gravel,
    topsoil and seeding.
    
    .13 Pavement markings and signage.
    
    .14 Supply and installation of guard rail.
    
    .15 Supply and operation of traffic control including temporary
    traffic lights, for
    duration of the project.
