Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain a firm ofconservation architects with related sub-consultants and specialist consultants for the provision of services required for the Carleton Martello Tower Conservation at Carleton Martello Tower National Historical Site of Canada, 454 Whipple Street, Saint John, New Brunswick.

The project is being undertaken by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Atlantic Region on behalf of Parks Canada Agency Southern New Brunswick Field Unit.

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Carleton Martello Tower, 454 Whipple Street, Saint John, New Brunswick on Thursday, April 28, 2016. The site visit will begin at 13:00 ADT.
 Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 12:00 ADT, Wednesday, April 27, 2016, to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendmentto the bid solicitation.

All inquiries must be directed in writing to the Contracting Authority, Linda Richard, at linda.k.richard@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than seven (7) days before bid closing.   Inquiries received after that date may not be answered.
