Data Capture (Laser Scanning) and Record Model Creation (Revit)

Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for the provision of 3D laser scanning of the Dominion Public Building located at 1713 Bedford Row, Halifax, Nova Scotia, in order to create a “Record” Building Information Model (BIM) of as-found conditions in Revit© and an updated Revit model with new interior fit-up design.

PSPC is planning an interior renovation of the Dominion Public Building.   The objective is t provide the design team with an accurate Record Model which will be used to support design and decision-making during the upcoming fit-up of the building.  The team will add enough information to the BIM for our clients to visualize the new space.

PSPC is requesting each of the following items:
• Unified 3D Laser Scan
• Record Building Information Model
• Updated Building Information Model of new Fit-up
Project start date:   as soon as possible upon award of contract
Submission of as-build Revit model:  13 July 2018
Project end date:   March 1, 2019

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
