Public Works & Government Services Canada has a requirement for  construction of new reinforced concrete fishway weirs, baffle / weir footings, and fishway entrance walls.  Repair to the existing reinforced concrete fishway guide walls.  Fabrication and installation of new galvanized steel vertical slot baffles. Repair to the existing reinforced concrete diversion / training walls.  Removal and salvage of the existing grating. Grating to be reinstated once concrete restoration is completed.  Demolition and removal of the existing reinforced concrete fishway baffles, beams, and baffle footings at the Indian Falls Fishway located on the Lahave River in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia.  

SITE VISIT:

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site and its surroundings to review and verify the form, nature, and extentof the work, materials needed for thecompletion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid.  No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determinethe conditions that will apply.

Allwork is to be completed by March 31, 2017
