    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans - Small Craft Harbours - for dredging at East Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia and disposal on land at the designated land disposal site at Lower East Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia.  
    
    The work includes but is not limited to: 
    
    1) Dredging within historic limits including dredging to 1.5 metres and 1.0 metres below chart datum in areas as indicated on the plan and Specifications.
    
    2) Disposal of dredged material on land at the designated disposal site in Lower East Chezzetcook (PID #40245623).
    
    The work must becompleted by March 31, 2017.
    
    Site Visit:
    
    Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site and its surroundings to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the means of access to the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions, any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may influence or affect their bid.  No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply.
