JOHN'S NL This requirement is open only to invited suppliers underthe CIVIL ENGINEERING Supply Arrangement - E0225-141687- who have qualified under the geographic region of Newfoundland and Labrador. . The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal: Crandall Engineering Dillon Consulting Campbell Comeau Engineering Limited Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is seeking proposals from consultants for professional services to undertake an assessment of the Fire Protection system at NAFC. PSPC is currently evaluating the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Centre (NAFC) facility with respect to program requirements, conditions, and the future of the facility. This fire protection assessment is part of a larger program and will provide details which will aid in budgeting and prioritizing upgrades, retrofits or replacement. The required work includes field investigations, modelling and analysis, options analysis, and report preparation. The study will include collection of background information, field data, preparation and calibration of a hydraulic model and fire flow analysis. The analysis is intended to confirm that the site water system can meet the fire flow requirements for all buildings as per the requirements of the Fire Authority Having Jurisdiction. This work will focus on the hydraulics of the water system and is intended to identify possible deficiencies with respect to fire protection, to recommend options and priorities for upgrading the system and to provide class D costing for any upgrades. This work is expected to contribute to subsequent detailed design and construction project(s) Optional components of the project will include detailed design of sprinkler systems for two areas of the building. A detailed scope of work is provided in section PR 1.4.4. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
