    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the partial demolition and renovation of eight (8) Point Wolf Campground service buildings at Fundy National Park, Alma, Albert County, New Brunswick.  The demolition and renovation work varies for each of the buildings, but generally includes, but is not limited to: 
    • Partial building demolition of concrete, masonry and wood-frame walls, roofs, and interior & exterior finishes; 
    • New mechanical piping and fixtures;
    • New electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures; 
    • New concrete foundations, slabs, new roof construction, windows, doors, and exterior siding, 
    • Various interior and exterior finishes; and 
    • Associated site work patching and re-grading.
    
    The Contractor shall supply all plant, materials, labour and equipment required to complete all demolitionwork including removal and disposal of all materials, as well as new construction work in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.075852.001 forming part of the bid document.  Contract completion is to be within eighteen (18) weeks after contract award.
    
    There will be an optional site visit on November 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.. All interested bidders are to meet at the East Visitor Reception Center, Fundy National Park, Albert Co., New Brunswick.  Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender forthis work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work.  It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.  Please note that this will be the only site visit for this project.  No other site visits will be arranged during the tender period.
    
    New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
    
    The estimated cost forthis opportunityis within the following cost category: $1,000,000.00 - 2,500,000.00 (HST included). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
    
    Apublic bid opening will be heldat the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
