    CORCAN Construction has a requirement for the furnishing of all necessary tools, plant, services, materials and labour to execute and complete the work in a careful and workmanlike manner.   The Work will be completed as per drawings and specifications and is not necessarily limited to the following:
    
    1 Supply and install of Tank and Dispenser system upgrades including piping, valves, dispensers, piping supports and other attachments;
    2 Temporarily relocate tow (2) fuel tanks (Diesel and Gas) to the client facility for paining and reinstall once painting is complete;
    3 Remove and dispose of all existing and/or redundant piping and dispensers;
    4 Supply and install new signage, new card lock system, all required electrical;
    5 Supply, install and modify existing “Veeder Root”;
    6 Prepping, painting and labeling of tanks and piping components;
    7 Coordinate all work with CORCAN Construction and other sub-contractors to complete work in a timely and safe manner; and
    8 Commissioning and training of client on the newly installed equipment.
    
    The following work will be completed by CORCAN Construction in coordination with the Contractor:
    
    1 Temporary fencing and Jersey Barriers;
    2 Painting of Canopy and others;
    3 Excavation to allow for the removal of existing underground piping
    4 Removal of concrete tank pads and pump island;
    5 Installation of new cast in place concrete tank pads and associated support pads.  All related ground work such as supply and install all granular, French drain, paving and topsoil.
    
    The contractor shall perform and complete the work within 12 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There will be an optional site visit on October 7, 2016 at 10:30 am.  All interested bidders are to meet at the Multi-Purpose Building, Building F114 Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, New Brunswick.  Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit atender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
