Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for the furnishing of all labour,  supervision, tools, equipment and cleaning materials  required to provide building cleaning services at the Joseph A. Ghiz Building,  275 Pope Road, Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

All work is to beperformed in accordance with the specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.079561.001 forming part of the bid document.

NOTICE OF OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  The site visit will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 1:30pm.  Contractors are asked to meet at the Joseph A. Ghiz Building (Front Desk), 275 Pope Road, Summerside, PEI.  Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 2 day(s) beforethe scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Service Contract is from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, with an option to renew for two additional one year periods.

Bid security is a requirement for this tender.

New measures related to Integrity Provisions are included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
