    Grass Cutting Base #1 - A, F, J Zones and L33, CFB Gagetown
    
    The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for
    the establishment of a Service Contract for the furnishing of
    all labour, materials, tools and equipment required to cut grass
    as shown on drawings for the following areas of CFB Gagetown: 
    A, F, J zones and L33.  The Service Contract is for the period
    of April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015, with options available to
    extend the contract for two additional one year periods.  The
    Service Contract is for the period of April 1, 2014 to March 31,
    2015, with options available to extend the contract for two
    additional one year periods.  All work is to be performed in
    accordance with Specification Number L-G2-9301/219 forming part
    of the bid document.
    
    There will be an optional site visit on March 18, 2014  at 10:00
    am. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no
    later than one day before the scheduled visit to confirm
    attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will
    attend. All interested bidders are to meet at main entrance of
    CFB Gagetown, Oromocto, New Brunswick. Although not mandatory,
    all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are
    encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the
    work.
    
    New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
    included in the solicitation documents requires attention. 
    
    The estimated cost (based on the Contract plus the two option
    years) for this opportunity is within the following cost
    category: $100,001 to $250,000. Bid security is not a
    requirement for this tender.
