Contracting Nursing Services for Veterans Affairs Canada - Ottawa, Ontario and Campbellton, New Brunswick

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) has a requirement for the provision of nursing consultation serices in Ottawa Ontario and Campbellton, New Brunswick. The period of the contract is from April 1, 2016, or date of award, to March 31, 2017 with options to extend for one (1) additional one (1) year period.

This document contains a security requirement.

All proposed personnel to provide nursing consultation services must meet the following:

-Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in nursing;
-A certificate of current registration as a Registered Nurse or as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in the province where the work is to be performed.
-Twenty-four months equivalence of full time experience as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nursewithin the last seven (7) years providing nursing care to adults; or,
supervising or teaching the nursing care of adults.
-Six (6) months equivalence of full time experience as a Registered Nurse (within the last seven (7) years) providing nursing careto adults with mental health conditions; or, supervising or teaching the practice of nursing of adults with mental health conditions;
Hold of valid driver's license in the province where the work is
to be performed.
