Basin Dredging & Disposal at Sea - SJ Ferry Terminal, New Brunswick

Public Works and Government Services Canada has requirement for channel dredging at the Saint John Transport Canada Ferry Terminal located in Saint John, New Brunswick. The work includes, but is not limited to, dredging within the basin to -6.0 metres below chart datum as indicated on the plans and specifications and disposal of the dredge material at sea at the designated disposal at sea site at Black Point.

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.090741.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2019.

All parties tendering should visit the site of the work prior to submission of tenders and makes themselves thoroughly acquainted with site conditions, conditions of existing objects to be removed, tides, degree of exposure and all information necessary for the proper carrying out of the work covered by the drawings and specifications. Submission of tender will be deemed that contractor is conversant with site conditions. The Departmental Representative will give no consideration whatsoever to any claim by the Contractor resulting from failure to have made all the necessary investigations prior to tendering.

New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $500,001 to $1,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
