Telephone No. - (902) 626-4949 Fax No. - (506) ) 636-4376 E-mail: anne.macdonald@pwgsc.gc.ca Exterior Lighting Replacement, St. Stephen Border Crossing, St. Stephen, NB The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the supply and installation of material, and commissioning of the work described below: 1. All exterior lighting fixtures (except those noted on contract documents) are to be replaced with LED fixtures. Existing poles, wiring, etc. are to be reused, however, contractor must ensure new fixtures can be mounted on existing pole brackets or allow for new brackets in the tender price. 2. Electrical contractor is responsible for disposal of all existing fixtures which are to be removed. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for Project Number R.073546.001 forming part of the bid document Site of Work is at St. Stephen Border Crossing, 20 St. Stephen Drive, St. Stephen, New Brunswick. The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $100,001 - $250,000. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2016. New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation documents requires attention. A Public bid opening will be held at 189 Prince William Street, Room 405, Saint John, New Brunswick. Inquiries: All inquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature are to be submitted in writing to the Contractual Authority: Anne MacDonald, telephone - (902)626-4949, facsimile - (506) 636-4376, e-mail - anne.macdonald@pwgsc.gc.ca. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries are to be made in accordance with SI03 - Enquiries During The Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the solicitation document. Standard bid and contract security for construction is required. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services and may be viewed at buyandsell.gc.ca. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
