Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EC016-161469/A Lomax, Sandra Telephone No. - (506) 636-4362 Fax No. - (506) 636-4376 Tank Decommissioning, Bunker C, Dorchester Penitentiary Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the cleaning, dismantling, and removal and approved disposal of two above ground bunker C storage tanks and associated piping. The tanks are located in a below grade concrete vault (former coal storage bunker). The two tanks are field constructed rectangular steel tanks. The Contractor is to provide a written Tank Cleaning and Dismantling Procedure for review with their bid package, including an emergency spill response procedure. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.061874.001 forming part of the bid document. The Contractor shall complete the work within eight (8) weeks of award OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions. There will be an optional site visit on December 10, 2015 at 11:00 am. All interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Dorchester Penitentiary Medium Security Sector, Dorchester, New Brunswick. Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. PLEASE NOTE: there is a security clearance required for this site visit. All interested bidders, regardless of current clearance level, must submit the Institution Access CPIC Clearance request form attachedas Annex C of the Invitation to Tender document as well as a copy of an official form of photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport by 4:00 pm November 26, 2015. If you plan to bring a camera to the visit, you must also provide, make, model, and serial number of camera by this date. New measures related to Integrity Provisions are included in the solicitation documents requires attention. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $250,001to $500,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required. A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B Inquiries: All inquiries of a technicalnature and all questions of a contractual nature are to be submitted in writing to the Contractual Authority: Sandra Lomax, telephone - (506) 636-4362, facsimile - (506) 636-4376, email - sandra.lomax@pwgsc.gc.ca.
