Gas Fired Hot Water Heaters, Nova Institute for Women 

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary to complete this project.  All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.061886.001.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall complete the work by July 29, 2016.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions. There will be an optional site visit on 
May 4, 2016 at 11:00 am.All interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Nova Institute for Women, Truro, Nova Scotia. Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspectsof the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. 

PLEASE NOTE: there is a security clearance required for this site visit. All interested bidders, regardless of current clearance level, must submit the Institution Access CPIC Clearance request form attached as Annex C of the Invitation to Tender document as well as a copy of an official form of photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport by 4:00 pm April 13, 2016.  

New measures related to Integrity Provisions are included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $100,001 to $250,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B
