Domestic Water Heater Tank Replacement, Atlantic Institution, Renous, NB 

Public Works and Government Services Canada has requirement for domestic water heater (DHW) tank replacement located at the Atlantic Institution, Renous, NB. The work to be done shall include all labour, materials and equipment necessary to complete the following:

• Removal and replacement of existing domestic water heater.  
• Provided continuous temporary hot water during construction.

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.086241.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall complete the work within twenty-nine (29) weeks of award.

NOTE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: 
There will be a site visit on September 13, 2017 at 1:30 hours. All interested bidders are to meet at the Main Entrance of the Atlantic Institute, Renous, New Brunswick. 

There is a security clearance required to attend this site visit.  ALL interested bidders, regardless of current clearance level, must submit the Institutional Access CPIC Clearance request form located in Annex D of this solicitation document. With the CPIC, bidders must also provide a copy of an official form of photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport. These MUST submitted to Sandra Lomax by e-mail sandra.lomax@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca by 16:00 hours, AUGUST 23, 2017. No cameras or cell phones will be allowed on the site.

New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $500,001 to $1,000,000 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 405, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.
