    A requirement has been identified by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) for the need to dredge channel and point, located at Malpeque Harbour, PEI.  The contract will be for a Two (2) year period for the Spring Dredge Only, with optional 3rd year.
    
    Mobilization to site and Construction (Dredging) period April 1, 2021 to June 18, 2021, for the Spring 2021 Dredge and April 1, 2022 to June 17, 2022 for the Spring 2022 Dredge.  If dredging equipment is to be transported by way of water, equipment MUST be on site in Malpeque Harbour prior to ice-in, this winter 2020 for spring 2021 Dredge and winter 2021 for the Spring 2022 Dredge.
    
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $1,500,001 to 2,000,000 (2 years + option year) (HST extra).

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries are to be made in accordance with S103 - Enquiries During The Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the solicitation document.  
    
    Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.

Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents.
