Work under this standing offer includes the provision of mechanical services such as installation, removal and repair of mechanical systems, on an as and when required basis, on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada., for 1 year with an option to renew for two additional one year periods. Location of the work is the Charlottetown Complex, 440 University Ave., Charlottetown, PEI, and the Harrington Farm Site, 1200 Brackley Point Road, Harrington, PEI. Notice of Site Visit It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on: Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:00am Contractors are asked to meet at the AAFC Charlottetown Main Complex (Front Desk), 440 University Avenue, Chalottetown, PEI. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 4 day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Security requirements are included in this solicitation document. The Standing Offer is for one year with two possible extension years. The estimate for this opportunity (including extension years) is within the following cost category: $100,001 to $250,000.
