    NOTICE OF OPTIONAL  SITE VISIT
    
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  
    
    The site visit will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:00am.  Contractors are asked to meet at 41 Lily Pond Drive, Charlottetown, PEI.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 1 day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
    
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

    Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for a contract, which consists of the following:
    
    In general, the work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
    
    Decommissioning of three greenhouses located at AAFC Home Farm, 440 University Avenue, Charlottetown, PEI.  The decommissioning will involve asbestos abatement.
    
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the work by February 15, 2019.
    
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PSPC Project Number R.099986.001forming part of the bid document.  The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost category:  $100,000.00 to $250,000.00.

    Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
