    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
    paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
    consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
    directory structure.
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada, has a requirement
    for a contract that consists of
     but not be limited to the following:
    1.	Demolition of a 76m portion of the existing wharf and the
    construction of a new wharf
    	structure within the same limits at Graham's Pond, PE.
    2.	The Contractor shall be fully responsible to layout the work
    from the plans, and to the
    	lines and grades indicated.
    3.	The work of this contract includes the provision of all
    materials, labour, equipment, and
    	ancillaries, all as necessary for the completion of the work as
    indicated on the drawings
    	and as described in the specifications and notes.  Work on this
    project consists generally
    	of, but not limited to, the following:
    	1.	Supply, install and remove all environmental protection
    measures required, such
    		as silt fences, diversion ditches and check dams.
    	2.	Demolish existing wharf section.
    		.1	Remove all concrete decking.
    		.2	Remove all timbers, bolts, and connection accessories.
    		.3	Remove back timber wall to the extent necessary to permit
    installation of
    			new work.
    		.4	Cut-off all existing timber pile portions interfering with
    installation of new
    			Work.
    	3.	Reconstruct Wharf Section.
    		.1	prepare remaining wharf sections for tying into.
    		.2	Prepare site for installation of timber piles and wharf
    deck.
    		.3	Supply and install timber piles and bracing.
    		.4	Place backfill materials and riprap protection.
    		.5	Supply and install timber piles cap, stringers, whales, and
    back wall.
    		.6	Install precast concrete deck sections.
    		.7	Install timber fenders, metal ladders and mooring cleats.
    		.8	Backfill to edge of new wharf with specified fill and
    gravel.
    
    
    4.	All labour, materials and work necessary to complete the
    project to the Department
     	Representative's full satisfaction.
    
    5.	All work to be carried out in accordance with applicable
    federal and provincial
    	regulations for those agencies having jurisdiction for the
    work.  The work is subject to the
    	Canadian Environmental Protection Act and the PEI Occupational
    and Safety Act and
    	regulations.
    
    Site of Work is at: Graham's Pond Wharf, Graham's Pond, King's
    County, Prince Edward Island
    Completion of the work is March 5, 2013.
    
    All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
    specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.058382.001 forming
    part of the bid document.
    
    The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost
    category:  $500,001 to 1 Mil

    Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
    
    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
    tender documents through the MERX services provider.  Addenda,
    when issued, will be available from the MERX provider.  Firms
    that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from
    other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
    responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
    intention to bid.  
    
    Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
    incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
    contract documents.  The standard documents are issued by Public
    Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the MERX
    electronic bulletin board as part of the information module.
    
    Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, (refer
    to G101 of R2710), Bidders must submit the following as part of
    their bid: 
    -	a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
    directors of the Bidder; 
    -	a properly completed and signed Consent Form, for each
    individual named in the
    	aforementioned list
