The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the provision of all necessary labour and material to carry out a five (5) year maintenance contract at St. Andrews Biological Station, 125 Marine Science Drive, St. Andrews, NB on the following:
Equipment Inventory:  
• One NB # 244221,  Electric Global Tardif (MRL) Passenger elevating device 

All work is to be performed in accordance with the specification for EC645-190941 forming part of the bid document.
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at St. Andrews Biological Station, 125 Marine Science Drive, St. Andrews, NB on April 10, 2019. The site visit will begin at 10:30, at the main building.
Bidders are to communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the visit to confirm attendance.  Bidders that do not attend are not precluded from submitting a bid.  Bidders are to provide the Contracting Authority with the names of their representative no later than 2 days prior to the scheduled site visit.

The work shall be performed by qualified Elevating Device Mechanics certified by the Province of New Brunswick Trade Regulations made under Section 17A of the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act. The elevating device mechanics shall be skilled in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various types of elevators with a minimum of five (5) years documented experience. Proof of licencing shall be submitted upon request by the Departmental representative.
