Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Centre (NAFC) 

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes the previous bid
solicitation number EA003-151531/A dated 27 November 2014 with a
closing of 22 December 2014 at 2:00 p.m. NST.

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a
requirement for Life Cycle Replacements of Secondary
Transformers and Capacitors at the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries
Centre (NAFC) located on White Hills Road in St. John's, NL. 
Work under this contract will consist of:  Electrical Life Cycle
replacements of select capacitors and secondary transformers, as
well as the replacement of select electrical feeders and
miscellaneous distribution equipment related to the above.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit
the site to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of
the work, materials needed for the completion of the work, the
means of access to the site, any accommodations that may be
required, and in general shall obtain all necessary information
as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances which may
influence or affect their bid.  No allowance shall be made
subsequently in this connection on account of error or
negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that
will apply.

Arrangements have been made for an optional site visit to be
held at the Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Centre, White Hills
Road, St. John's, NL on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.  All
perspective bidders are to be at the NAFC main entrance by 10:00
am in order to sign in and 
register at the security desk.  A photo ID will be required for
entry into the building.    

Contractors, bidders, or those they invite to site are to review
specification Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety Requirements
- before visiting the site.  Take all appropriate safety
measures for any visit to site, either before or after
acceptance of bid.  Obtain prior permission from the
Departmental Representative before carrying out such site
inspection.

Bidders must refer to the General Instructions - Construction
Services - Bid Security Requirements - R2710T (2014-09-25) for
the Integrity Provisions (Code of Conduct and Certification)
applicable to this requirement.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS:

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all
addenda issued prior to bid closing have been obtained and

The estimated value for this opportunity is within the range of:
