Extension to the VRC Tattoo Facility - Signal Hill - St. John’s, NL

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement for the extension of the VRC Tattoo Facility at Signal Hill in St. John’s, NL.  Work under the contract consistsof an extension to the existing building, as well as a new water line and HVAC upgrades. It will include, but is not limited to, new concrete foundation and slab, exterior walls of wood frame, concrete masonry units and brick cladding, new steel doors and frames, wood flush doors and aluminum windows, modified bituminous roof, associated interior finishes, wood deck with railings, and associated mechanical and electrical.  Work will take place on Signal Hill Road in St. John’s, NL.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Contractors bidding this project should note that there are scheduling requirements outlined in theSpecification for this work.  Please refer to Specification Section 01 10 10, 1.6 - Coordination with Tenant Operations.

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site and its surroundings to review and verify the form, nature, and extent of the work.  Please review Specification Section 01 35 30 - Health and Safety Requirements - and take all appropriate safety measures for any site visit, either before or after acceptance of bid.
