Public Works and Government Services CanadaWork(PWGSC) has a
requuirement for Harbour Development at Harbour Breton, NL. 
This work will consist of, but is not limited to: 
a) Demolition and removal of existing wharf, 
b) Removal of the existing floating docks and anchoring system, 
c) Construction of a new timber crib wharf complete with
reinforced concrete deck, 
d) Harbour dredging and dredging of harbour bottom prior to
installation of new rock mattress and scour protection, 
e) Supply and installation of morring cleats, structural timber
for coping, wheelguard blocking, fenders, ladders and associated
hardware and 
f) Supply and installation of new electical conduit and poles.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. It is recommended that bidders visit the site and its
surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of work, the
means to access the site, severity, exposure and uncertainty of
weather, soil conditions and in general obtain all necessary
information as to risks, contingencies and other circumstances
prior to submitting bid.
2. Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 29-Health and Safety
Requirements, Item 1.9 Project Site Conditions, of
Specifications before performing any site inspection or
preliminary work at site.

Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R2710T (2015-07-03) for the Integrity Provisions (Code of
Conduct and Certification) applicable to this requirement.
