    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for Breakwater Construction at Charlottetown, Labrador.  The work will consist of but is not limited to the construction of a new rubble mound breakwater.  This will include the supply and installation of approximately 2,200 m3 of core stone (0.1kg-400kg), 1,200 m3 of filter stone (200kg-600kg), 350 m3 of armour stone (1-2 tonne) and 1,500 m3 of armour stone (2-4 tonne).  Removal, stockpile, sort and re-installation or armour stone also forms part of this work.

    Before submitting a bid, it is recommended the bidders visit the site and verify the form and nature of the work prior to submitting a bid.  Contact the PWGSC representative listed below to access site for review of existing accommodations.  Contractors, bidders or those theyinvite to site are to review specification Section 01 35 29 - Health and Safety Requirements, item 1.11 Project/Site Conditions before visiting the site and take all appropriate safety measures.
